Missions 5K (Update): Cancellation Notice

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the 13th Annual Missions 5K Run Walk for Alzheimer’s is cancelled on Saturday March 28th with no reschedule option due to the uncertainty of when we will exit COVID-19 (Corona Virus) restrictions.

The City of Austin updated the criteria for public gatherings due to the recent positive (6 cases currently in Austin Area) COVID-19 cases in Austin. This order went into effect @ 2 a.m Monday March 16th through May 1st for any indoor and outdoor event for 250 or more people.

Our race is permitted by the City of Austin and we follow all rules and regulations. Thus, we must cancel. (See Latest Press Release)

Our Go Forward Plan
We will be giving our proceeds to Alzheimer’s Texas (www.txalz.org)! This is where your race registration fee will go along with other donations we have raised. We are 100% non-profit, stand by our commitment to help Alzheimer’s, and see no reason to stop helping others during this time!
